Breathe, You Are Alive

Living in a fast-paced society like ours, we are often carried away by the demands of a hectic life at school, at work, and even at home.

This retreat conducted by Plum Village Delegation offers an opportunity for us to slow down. Together, we will practise bringing mindfulness into daily life. We learn to enjoy sitting, walking, and eating in ways that help us recognise the beautiful gifts that life offers us. We receive nourishment by touching the beauty of nature, the beautiful presence of people around us, and the beauty in ourselves.

Note: This is a compulsory stay-in retreat.

Walk with Me: A Journey into Mindfulness featuring Thich Nhat Hanh
Join monastics from Plum Village for a special mindfulness event in Singapore, including the screening of “Walk With Me” — an intimate portrait of the Plum Village community of Zen master and Nobel Peace Prize nominee Thich Nhat Hanh. Benedict Cumberbatch narrates extracts from Thich Nhat Hanh’s early journals, which frame a contemplative journey. Come, pause, breathe, and experience what mindfulness is.
Dates: 22 June 2018 (Fri) and 23 June 2018 (Sat)
